Do you want help using our data for your work?
Do your stories need some hard numbers? If you’re reporting on any kind of social issue, or human story, the Human Rights Measurement Initiative’s country-by-country human rights information can help.
The HRMI team is offering to host a 1-2 hour customised workshop for any civil society organisation or group of journalists interested in using our data in their reporting, research or advocacy work.
Each workshop will be tailored to the interests and needs of the group. You tell us what stories you would like to tell, and we will work with you to help shape those stories and use our data accurately.
You don’t need to be a data journalist or a human rights specialist to use our data. You can tell important stories about social issues, marginalised communities, or political questions, using our data to give context to people’s experiences. We are very happy to help you do that.
We will also provide you with a personalised demo of how best to use our new data portal (to be launched in the first week of June).
Journalists can also sign up to receive a full press pack, under embargo, before the official launch. For more information and to sign up, see here.
Our workshops are free!
There is no cost for our tailored workshops. We would be delighted to help you use our data to do your work.
