Meridith Lavelle

Meridith received her PhD from the University of Georgia in 2025. She is currently a Postdoctoral Researcher at the University of Mannheim. Driven by her desire for the advancement of all human rights, a continued understanding of the varying challenges facing human rights advocacy, and the expansion of human rights education and awareness, she is dedicated to facilitating her contributions through empirical research and collaboration with other human rights advocates to improve outcomes by pressuring governments to do better. Her research agenda centers on human rights, political violence, tech and politics, and political economy.
