Malik is a young leader from New Caledonia. He is one of the founders of Change Makers New Caledonia and a member of Young Pacific Leaders and Pacific-Australia Youth Association. He is president of the Gardiens Des Iles Association, which works for inclusive biodiversity conservation that respects local cultures in New Caledonia, and promotes the professional inclusion of young people in the environmental field. Malik is also a researcher in the field of community management and conservation of biodiversity, particularly exploited species and bats.
