Join us in creating change
Robust, accessible human rights data allows us to hold governments accountable for their human rights commitments. Data empowers changemakers to identify problems, assess needs, and monitor trends. It’s vital for advocacy and decision-making.
Since 2015, the Human Rights Measurement Initiative (HRMI) has used award-winning and peer-reviewed methodologies to produce robust data that measures the human rights performance of countries. Through strategic partnerships, research and specialised training, we support the people making frontline change on human rights. HRMI is growing an open-data ecosystem that amplifies the voices of local human rights defenders and facilitates evidence-based decision-making on human rights.
We are committed to producing measures that are independent and are entirely funded by grants and donations.
Your generous support makes our work possible.
