Funding & support
The Human Rights Measurement Initiative’s (HRMI’s) measures of human rights performance are available on the Rights Tracker free of charge for non-commercial use.
Since we are committed to producing measures that are independent, we only accept funding from ethical bodies that remain at arm’s length from our operations. This means we rely on grants and donations to collaboratively produce high-quality independent data.
If you’d like to provide support, please contact us.

We are also very grateful to the many individuals who have donated their time and expertise to support our work. This includes our HRMI Ambassadors, who play an important role in helping us identify potential survey respondents in their countries and connecting us to local human rights communities.
HRMI is a registered Charitable Trust in Aotearoa New Zealand. Contact us for information about donations being exempt from tax in Aotearoa and internationally. Documentation can be obtained from NGOsource.
