Hwanhee Lee is an attorney at law at Dongcheon Foundation, a public interest law foundation. Right after college, she joined Ernest & Young, a global business consulting firm and worked as a senior consultant for 5 years before attending law school where she studied law to become a full-time Pro Bono lawyer. With focus on legal advocacy and policy reform for refugees and migrants, her current interests include universal birth registration, non-discrimination against foreigners and women, the workers’ rights, as well as domestic interpretation and implementation of international human rights treaties. Hwanhee received B.A. in Political Science & Diplomacy in 2010, Juris Doctor in 2020, and was admitted into the Korea Bar Association in 2021.
