With more than 30 years of investment experience in asset consulting and funds management, Sean’s roles have spanned markets in Asia, London, Australia, and New Zealand. He has led a substantial investment business which managed over AU$120b across multi-asset strategies. As an asset consultant with Willis Towers Watson, he provided strategic consulting advice to some of the world’s largest pension funds as well as heading up Manager Research in Asia while also leading the asset class research into fixed income. Sean is now excited to be starting the next chapter as CIO and co-founder of a purpose-driven investment business based in New Zealand, Aurora Capital, which is oriented on the belief that it’s possible to create positive change for people and the planet through investment. A specific focus of Aurora Capital is to help solve climate change, which they believe is one of the greatest challenges faced by humanity today. Sean is also on the Investment Committee of Australian Ethical, Australia’s oldest ethical fund manager.
