Sylvette is a human rights advocate with a focus on women's rights and gender equality. She is a dedicated human rights educator within Observatoire des Droits de l'Homme in the Democratic Republic of Congo, where she coordinates activities related to women's empowerment and awareness of bills of human rights. She has helped to implement plans and programmes related to sexual and gender based violence, developed to train secondary school teachers and students, improving their perception of gender balance and spreading a positive message of healthy masculinity through community awareness and advocacy campaigns.
